Wow, so Ive been waiting over 6 months to buy this Monitor Callibrator and finally got the balls to do so for my birthday a couple of weeks ago!  It's not that I couldn't afford it, or that I had no use for it before, it was simply the price; $130 retail!!  Every week I would go to Fry's hoping they would have it on sale, but the lowest it got was $120!  Still it's very useful for me as I work on multiple monitors in different environments, so not only do I want them to all be similar, but I need to make sure everything I design comes out as intended in print.

The lesser models didnt have multiple users, and anything that was better was almost $100 more!!  This one is just right for me!!  I'm not super advanced but am definitely on a professional level...and though Im most interested in web and mobile based design Im best at photo manipulation and in turn album covers!! Plus for a BuyNow price of $80 on eBay I think that's a steal!!  If I had the patience of an auction I could have got it down to $60 but I'm totally satisfied!!  I just wish the set up process was a bit longer than 5 minutes!!  At least it will remind me of all the fun I can have re-calibrating it every 15 days!  Woo-hoo!!

Designer USB Flash Drives - I Die!

Thanks to Mimobot I now long for a designer USB Flash Drive with accessories.  Like I need more electronics!! 

For $24.95 you can get one of these flashy drives that store 4GB!  Pretty good considering a very much less cool Flash Drive with the same amount of storage will run you at least $15-20!  And you can't put skins or clothes on those bitches!  Im loving that these come with preloaded ish too, like sounds only that particular bot would make when you plug and unplug them from your computer, a custom desktop app, etc.  Plus they have a contest for designers from their site that allows you to download the template and upload your own design!!  I love when people try to make money off your hard work!!  Im gonna try to do the same when I grow up!!  LOL

So the one I really like is the Rasta Domo but I'm not diggin his guitar!  What about some herb?  Maybe I should redesign it!

The Ultimate Green Machine

Having had my BMW for four years now I have to say I love it more now than I did the day I drove it off the lot!!  With every ding and scrape only adds character, this car has been with me through thick and thin and even though I long for a 5 Series, they are just too big and too delicate for me right now at this point in my life.  I love that I can smash around town quickly and in style without being too careful of anything (i.e. rims)!  But when I saw this concept yesterday (minus the crazy colors) I got semi excited!  This is of course, the future.

 

This is the Vision Efficientdynamics Concept from BMW, and at 155mpg (31hrs of battery time alone) shit rocks hard!!  Im NOT a fan of the blue, the color scheme is a little overboard but I understand where they're coming from, and where they're going!!  Absolutely love the grill but the headlights look too cut off for me, but now that I think of it they remind me of the New Corvette/Camaro style and THAT turns me on!!  

 

Used to be an all Chevy girl but now Im a BMW woman!!  I mean, 0 to 62 in 4.8 seconds!?!?!  SOLD!  Green is the new black!!
